Discover Caio, near Lampeter, Carmarthenshire, Mid Wales -
once a favourite hiding place for outlaws. Tour the 2000 years old
Roman goldmines at Dolaucothi visitors' centre and estate. The National
Trust provide guided underground tours of the Dolaucothi 1930's workings.

Dinas RSPB Reserve and Llyn Brianne
Dam
Bird watchers (home of the red kite) and walkers paradise at
Dinas RSPB reserve near Llandovery, Carmarthenshire, Mid Wales, with
unspoilt rolling hills bisected by wooded valleys. Both Llyn Brianne,
a huge man-made lake, and Dinas have spectacular views. |
