Rhandirmwyn
Turn left over Dolauhirion Bridge and head back up the eastern (and most
scenic) side of the river to Rhandirmwyn -meaning
in Welsh "Land of Minerals" or "Gentle Land".
Before 1968 from here northwards the road was little more than a drovers
trail - you will notice cultivation diminishing, 
the
valley contracting and steep hills drawing
closer together.
